Examples

Casual

Hii 😊 Hii 😊

Extended spelling signals casual friendliness in some English chats.

Named

Hi, Alex! How are you?

A question creates an actual conversation opener.

Polite

Hello. I hope you’re well.

Calmer wording for a first contact.

What the layouts actually do

Straight preserves entry order and your chosen output style. Reverse reverses complete entries, so numbered results count down. Zigzag alternates a four-space indent. Snake moves gradually right and back left. Centered inserts real leading spaces into the copied text instead of using a visual-only CSS effect.

Zigzag, snake and centered always use separate lines. The preview is limited to 50 lines and 12,000 code units for responsiveness; copy and download use the complete result when it remains under the two-million-code-unit safety limit.

“Hii” is a style choice, not a universal translation

In English chat, extra letters can make a greeting feel playful or enthusiastic. Other languages use their own natural greeting conventions, so future localized pages will not simply copy the spelling Hii.

Repeated greetings can be funny between friends, but a single greeting plus a real question is usually a better way to begin a conversation.

Pick a greeting that fits the conversation

A casual chat

Hi, Hii or Hey can feel relaxed in English messaging. Add a real question if you want to start a conversation.

A first introduction

Use Hello with the person’s name and one sentence explaining who you are or why you are writing.

A playful text pattern

Repeat a very short greeting or waving emoji, keeping the count low enough that the recipient can still respond easily.

Choose clarity before extra letters

  • Use Hi for a neutral English greeting and Hii only when that informal style is natural for you.
  • Use Hello or a polite named template for first contact and professional messages.
  • Add a question or purpose after the greeting instead of sending a large block with no context.
  • Remember that translated greetings follow each language’s own conventions; Hii is not a universal form.

Copying, downloading and sharing

The result is ordinary Unicode plain text. Receiving apps can impose their own message sizes, font choices and anti-spam rules, so review a large result before pasting it. This tool does not send messages, access contacts or place your input in the page URL.

Troubleshooting the generated text

Can I repeat Hey or Hello instead?

Yes. Choose a quick template or replace the message with any greeting you want.

Why did the recipient not reply to repeated greetings?

Repetition does not give the person a topic to answer. Try one greeting followed by a clear, respectful question.

Can I use line numbers for a greeting?

Yes, although numbering is usually more useful for verifying a count than for starting a conversation.
