Examples

Gentle

Thinking of you today 💛

Useful when a dramatic message would feel too strong.

Named

I miss you, Sam.
I miss you, Sam.

The optional name personalizes every entry.

Positive next step

I miss you! Let’s plan a call.

A clear invitation can make the message actionable.

What the layouts actually do

Straight preserves entry order and your chosen output style. Reverse reverses complete entries, so numbered results count down. Zigzag alternates a four-space indent. Snake moves gradually right and back left. Centered inserts real leading spaces into the copied text instead of using a visual-only CSS effect.

Zigzag, snake and centered always use separate lines. The preview is limited to 50 lines and 12,000 code units for responsiveness; copy and download use the complete result when it remains under the two-million-code-unit safety limit.

Match the emotional intensity to the relationship

Missing a partner, friend or family member can sound different. Choose a template that communicates care without creating pressure.

For a gentle check-in, a single message plus a practical invitation to call or meet may work better than thousands of repetitions.

Ways to make an I Miss You message more personal

A partner far away

Pair the feeling with a real next step, such as planning a call, visit or shared activity.

A friend you have not seen

Use a friendly check-in and a question. A reply is easier when the message gives the person something specific to answer.

Family across distance

Mention the group or occasion you miss, and choose warm wording that does not read like a romantic template.

Keep the emotion warm, not overwhelming

  • Use 10 or 50 repeats for a gentle check-in; reserve 100 for a playful shared style.
  • Choose one-per-line when using a name, and inline mode for short emoji-led patterns.
  • Add a hopeful next step after the feeling: a call, a visit or a date to catch up.
  • Review the full result before sharing so the tone fits how close you are now.

Copying, downloading and sharing

The result is ordinary Unicode plain text. Receiving apps can impose their own message sizes, font choices and anti-spam rules, so review a large result before pasting it. This tool does not send messages, access contacts or place your input in the page URL.

Troubleshooting the generated text

Can I write Thinking of you instead?

Yes. Pick that preset or edit the main message to any wording that better fits the relationship.

Why does the message feel too intense?

Lower the repeat count, remove emoji and use a simple check-in or invitation instead of a large repeated block.

Does the tool contact the recipient?

No. It only creates plain text locally. You choose whether, where and when to share it.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add a person’s name?

Yes. Enter a name and select a template containing [Name].

Can the result be one paragraph?

Choose Inline with spaces in Formatting options.

Which wording works for friends?

Thinking of you or Let’s catch up is often more natural than a romantic phrase.

How do I avoid an enormous message?

Use 10 or 50 repetitions and review the character and line totals before copying.
